Last Sunday of the Season (LSOS) is always a chatty & social 8-10 mile trail run and 6-7 mile Jeff (run/walk), somewhere beautiful, and always finishes in a cafe or pub for cake or salty chips.

Where can I find more information on the next LSOS?

If you haven't already please join our Facebook group (you have to be a member to attend) where all the information you need about the run / jeff/ venue will be held.

Simply visit Featured Posts or search via the in-group search function.

Any updates or last minute change of venues will be communicated via Facebook.

Run or Jeff?

The Run and Jeff enjoy a similar route.

To attend the Run you must be able to run a continuous 10k.

The Jeff is a mixture of running and walking at regular intervals.

Both the Run and Jeff regroup regulary throughout your time on the trails, so no-one is left behind.

What's the mandatory kit and do I need to carry it all?

The short answer is yes; all mandatory kit must be carried by each runner.

The mandatory kit list appears on each sign-up form, an example is as follows:

Trail shoes (Road shoes are not suitable)

Waterproof jacket

At least 500ml of water (No water no run)

250kcal of energy (Mars bar or similar)

Buff or a Hat 

What happens on the day?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start.

PARKING - Each LSOS will give information on parking. At the venue follow the instructions of the parking marshals.

REGISTRATION - Once you arrive please see Jenn to register. Registration close 20 minute prior to departure.

SAFETY BRIEFING - 15 mins before departure.

EMERGENCY - There is always a registered Outdoor ITC Level 3 first aider on the Run and Jeff. Please make sure your emergency contact information is correct at sign-up and any medical conditions have been made known. It is your responsiblity to carry any medication you may require on the run, and let the Run Leader know where it is stored.

ON THE RUN / JEFF - We regulary regroup and time is allowed for photographs. Always listen to the instructions from the Run / Jeff Leaders.

ROAD CROSSINGS - Alway listen to the instructions of the crossing marshals.

AFTERWARDS - Please join us in our hosts venue for a drink and food afterwards. Supporting these venues allow us to use their parking and facilities is important to keep LSOS running.

What happens to any photos taken?

The photos will appear on our Facebook page and we encourage attendees to share theirs too. Later on in the week, they will be added to the Gallery section of our website.
